FERGUSON, Mo. - The FBI and Ferguson Police Department are searching for a man accused in a Ferguson bank robbery Thursday morning.The robbery happened around 9:15 a.m. at a US Bank in the 200 block of North Florissant Road. Crime ring based in St. Charles targeted small towns Investigators have not disclosed information as to how much might have been stolen or whether there were any injuries stemming from the robbery. Police are searching for the suspect, who was described as a Black man around six feet tall. He was caught on surveillance video wearing a brown long-sleeved shirt, black pants, a hat, glasses and a medical mask, carrying a black backpack. With multiple camera shots and slick editing, Trevor Jacob documented the dramatic moments when his small plane crashed into a Santa Barbara County hillside as he parachuted to safety.The 2021 video titled, "I Crashed My Airplane," quickly amassed hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube.The only problem: it was all staged.On Wednesday, Jacob, 29, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of obstructing a federal investigation after admitting to intentionally crashing the plane to get views on his YouTube channel, the United States Department of Justice announced. Police are searching for at least 10 people who were caught on video plowing a truck into a high-end store in Burbank and stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Thursday at Magnolia Park, located at 3500 Magnolia Blvd.The suspects used a pickup truck to ram into the front of the store, video shared with KTLA showed.Before that, they almost took down a tree and moved a large concrete bench while attempting to drive into the store in reverse. With Pride Month swiftly approaching, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health "strongly recommends" people at higher risk of contracting mpox to get two doses of the readily available vaccine.Mpox, previously known as Monkeypox, became a global health emergency last year following a rash of outbreaks across the globe.Mpox is spread through skin-to-skin contact and can cause myriad symptoms, including painful rash or lesions, fever, muscle aches and respiratory issues. The viral infection has an incubation period as long as 17 days, and many carriers of the virus might be contagious while remaining symptom-free, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. While not typically fatal, at least one person is believed to have died with mpox in L.A. Shares of Walt Disney Co. fell by 9% Thursday after the company revealed not just another quarter of massive streaming losses but also that 4 million Disney+ subscribers canceled their subscriptions.Disney's direct-to-consumer division, which includes its Disney+ and Hulu streaming services, lost $659 million in the most recent quarter.Some saw that as good news in light of the $1.1 billion loss in the prior quarter and a $1.5 billion loss in the three months before that.However, the narrower loss wasn't due to a surge in new sign-ups -- as noted above, Disney+ said adios to millions of subscribers.It was due to price hikes that boosted revenue, which means Disney is now squeezing more cash out of fewer people.This isn't a winning strategy, but Disney is by no means alone in scrambling to figure out a sustainable streaming business model.
