SALEM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating a one-car crash in Salem. The incident occurred around 8:54 a.m. on July 14. The vehicle had hit a tree, and two people were trapped inside. Salem Fire and EMS with Cambridge Valley Rescue were able to free both occupants.The driver, Zachariah J. ALBANY, N.Y. (WTEN) -- A record 24 million acres in Canada have been destroyed due to the ongoing wildfires. Forest rangers with the state's Department of Environmental Conservation just returned home after spending two weeks battling those flames. Our Capitol Correspondent spoke with those rangers and has the latest on how New York is being affected by the flames. GLENMONT, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Saturday morning, multiple fire departments responded to a house fire at a residence on River Road in Glenmont. Members of the Selkirk Fire Department started fire suppression. The fire was contained in one room. All of the occupants made it out of the house before firefighters arrived. ELLISVILLE, Mo. -- Police are asking the public to stay away from a juvenile coyote spotted near the entrance to the Tartan Green subdivision.
