(NEWS10) -- A Troy man was arrested Friday in connection to a stolen vehicle investigation.Around 1:20 p.m., a North Greenbush police officer saw a vehicle that had been reported as stolen parked at 10 West Sand Lake Rd. Police saw Jose Gonzalez, of Troy, leave the house and get into the vehicle. He fled into the house as police approached but was quickly arrested. Woman robbed near Glendora hiking trail, suspect at large A suspect remains at large after allegedly robbing a woman near a Glendora hiking trail.Officers responded to reports of a robbery near the Colby Trail in the area of Glendora Mountain Road and Big Dalton Canyon Road around 7 a.m.The victim, a female hiker, told Glendora police she was robbed at knifepoint by a male suspect. The suspect then fled the scene before police arrived.Ground crews along with air units from Pasadena Police Department searched the area, but were not able to locate the robber.The suspect is described as a white male standing around 5 feet 8 inches tall with a blonde/gray beard. Caltrain strikes and kills pedestrian in Palo Alto PALO ALTO — A Caltrain fatally hit a pedestrian Friday afternoon in Palo Alto, officials said.The collision, which involved southbound train No. 126, was reported around 5:40 p.m. at Stanford Station, Caltrain spokesperson Mahmoud Abunie said in an email.The Churchill Avenue crossing was closed as a result of the fatality, the Palo Alto Police Department said in an advisory.No injuries were reported among the train’s 150 passengers.The fatality is the commuter rail line’s fifth of the year, Abunie said.
